Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using WarrantyTrackerApp. By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. About WarrantyTrackerApp
WarrantyTrackerApp is a web-based application that allows users to store appliance receipts, track warranty expiry dates, receive reminder notifications, and find replacement product options. The service is operated by an individual founder and is currently offered as a minimum viable product (MVP) undergoing active development. The service is intended for personal and household use. A separate commercial tier for property managers and landlords is in development.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use WarrantyTrackerApp. By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. The service is currently directed at users in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Users accessing the service from other jurisdictions do so at their own risk.
3. Your Account
To use the service you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. If you suspect your account has been accessed without your authorisation, you must notify us immediately at support@warrantytrackerapp.com.
4. The Service
WarrantyTrackerApp provides: upload and storage of receipt images and PDF documents; automated extraction of receipt data; tracking of appliance warranty periods and expiry dates; email notifications for upcoming warranty expirations; and suggested replacement product options. We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided as an early-stage product — features may change without prior notice.
5. Free and Paid Tiers
A free tier is available allowing storage of up to 5 appliances, basic warranty reminders, and receipt storage. A premium subscription is available at the price displayed at the time of purchase, providing unlimited appliance storage, priority alerts, and access to additional features. Subscriptions are billed in advance and will automatically renew unless cancelled. We do not offer refunds of any kind. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days notice.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use WarrantyTrackerApp only for its intended purpose of personal household receipt and warranty management. You must not upload unlawful content, attempt to access another user's account, reverse engineer the service, use automated scraping tools, introduce malware, or use the service in any way that violates applicable laws. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user found in breach of these obligations.
7. Your Data and Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to WarrantyTrackerApp. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We collect account information, receipt images, extracted receipt data, and usage data. Your data is used only to provide and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data is retained for as long as your account is active.
8. Third-Party Services
WarrantyTrackerApp integrates with third-party services including cloud storage providers for file storage and payment processors for billing. Your use of these services through WarrantyTrackerApp is subject to the respective providers' terms and privacy policies. Replacement product links may be affiliate links — this does not affect the price you pay.
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in WarrantyTrackerApp, including its design, software, branding, and documentation, are owned by or licensed to us. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights beyond the limited right to use the service in accordance with these terms.
10. Disclaimers
WarrantyTrackerApp is a record-keeping tool and does not constitute financial, legal, insurance, or warranty advice. We do not verify the accuracy of receipt data or warranty terms displayed within the service. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
